Here's my card for the monthly challenge at Gerda Steiner Designs. Isn't he a cutie?

Here's my entry for the From the Heart Stamps monthly challenge.  Since Bev has a nasty case of poison ivy, I wanted to send a get well card, but most cards just didn't match the circumstances.  "Are you cured yet?" is one of my favorite pig puns, but I never seemed to have anyone whose situation worked with the saying.  Aha! the two match up great.  On the inside, I contined the piggy references. I hope she gets a chuckle from this card.

It's time for another challenge from Your Scrapbook Place. This challenge is to make a get well card with an image from The Stamping Boutique. I love the broad assortment of images on this site.  Most of them are cute or whimsical, but there are also sentiments and some lovely florals.  Anyway, I chose an unusual image for a get well card--Medusa.  The challenge required that we use a specific color combo--bermuda bay, baked brown sugar, and crisp cantaloupe.  I colored her using pencils and gamsol.  If she doesn't scare you well, the interior message says, "Green is really not your color." I think she would also make a wonderful bad hair day card, so she may show up again some day.
