This card is for the Outlawz challenge of the month. The image is from Simply Betty Stamps.  I'm telling Damon this is my new look when I've finished my weight-loss program.  I'm down 66 pounds, lost a pound last week even with the holiday.  So, I have only about another 70 or so to be this slender.  Somehow, I don't think I'll make it; but hopefully, the card will make him smile and remember the days when I was a skinny woman wearing short shirts and sporting hair down my back!

These guys are the stamp of the month for the December challenge at Imagine That.  I used Gellyroll Stardust markers on the letters.  They definitely look better in person than in the photo.

This little angel is for the December challenge at Gerda Steiner Designs. I was experimenting, trying to make the lights look like they were lit.  I'm not entirely satisfied with the result; I think I'll try using a marker that is a couple of shades lighter next time.

This card is for the December challenge at From the Heart Digital Stamps I think these crazy bird brains are real cuties.

Here are some of the family and friends Christmas cards we sent this year. I mailed some without scanning them so I don't have pictures of them all, but these are definitely representative.  The first two cards went to Arizona.  Both had interior images.

I had lots of great interior sentiments from Create with TLC.  I didn't scan the inside messages, however.   I made these with my Stampin Up group.

I enjoy coloring with my Copic markers, and I used a wide assortment of images this year.  I think I bought images from most of my favorite artists this Christmas.  I may have gone a little overboard because digital images are inexpensive and most artists ran sales for the holidays. 

These are two of the cards I made in a class at my local scrapbook store.  I sent out several others made in the class, but they were among the cards I didn't scan.

This is a sample of the cards I did for the swap with my Stampin Up group.  This was the "fail" that I kept, so the others were all a little better looking. The strip in the middle is empty, which looks very interesting when you open the card or set it on a table tent-style. I thought it would be quick, but it took much, much longer than I expected to cut and glue all the pieces.  The tree cut-outs didn't provide enough stability to the card, so I had to glue a second set of trees inside the card, backing each tree.  Then I didn't like the way that looked when the card was opened, so I glued patterned panels on the inside of the card to cover the trees.  All things considered, I wouldn't do this type design again. LOL

 I joined some November swaps in my Scrapaholics Anonymous group.  Then, for the first time ever, I completely forgot about them.  Luckily the hostess asked about the status so I could get them finished and sent in--only a few days late. I chose to do journaling boxes for each swap.  The first one is for "Today in History."  It doesn't show up very well, but the second layer is part of an actual Time magazine.  The second is for Scrapping a Loss--In Memory, and the last is for Seasons Greetings--Christmas but no Santa.  I whipped them all out in a single night, which is fast for me, so I was surprised they turned out as well as they did.  Hopefully, the other swap members will like them.

This is for a challenge that's new to me--at Imagine That Digis by Kris. Her images contain both the black and white line drawing and a colored image, which I used.  The sentiment inside reads, "hoping your Christmas is sweet and filled with sparkling memories."

This is for Rick's 60th birthday.  It's a '56 instead of a '54, but at least it's a red Ford like his.

This is for Gerda Steiner Designs November challenge. Owls seem quite popular this year, and this is another sweet one.

This card is for the From the Heart Stamp progressive challenge.  I've procrastinated until the last minute, so it's very simple, but I love the image!

 This is Amy's birthday card.  Since she loves both flip flops and toe socks, I thought it was a cute way to combine them both in one card.

This card is for the October challenge at Gerda Steiner Designs.  This cute little kid obviously knows about dancing in the rain.  I also made another card using the September stamp, this time colored with colored pencils.

 I haven't done any swapping for a long time.  My last swap items were for winter, so I think it must have been January or February.  I decided to get in a few swaps at Scrapaholics Anonymous and made these journaling boxes.  Hopefully, they will jump-start my scrapping mojo so I can get some pages finished.

Here's my card for the current challenge at Your Scrapbook Place. This week Squigglefly is the sponsor.  They have every kind of image you could ever want.  Right now Lynne Stansbery is their featured designer so I used one of her images.  I love her images!  The challenge was to use black and white plus one other color.  I obviously chose red.  I can hardly wait to send this to one of my allegy-prone friends.  The weed pollen is so high right now, I may need to make several more!

I finally finished Emmylou's birthday banner and got it to Larry for delivery.  The banner reads Hooray 4 Emmylou! These are the first and last flags. I hope she likes it.

Here is Emmylou's birthday card.  The inside says, "Some people are worth melting for."  (Of course) I also finished her banner--I spent most of my crop time last weekend making snowflakes! I will try to post a picture of a sample banner flag tomorrow.

Here are the rest of the cards for the Create with TLC challenge.   I surprised myself by finishing the entire series.  The cards are in random order.  I really enjoyed the challenge because the images suited so many different occasions.  And now, Whoo-hoo! I have twelve new cards completed.
