For the family cards, I used a variety of styles and techniques.  The first card is a tri-fold window pane.  Next come some traditional cards for the little girls and Micah.

I tried some decoupage cards this year.  I was fairly happy with them, but the penguin base would not stay straight.  After lots of tinkering, I replaced it with a punch card.

I have had this Stampin Up stamp set for several years.  I loved the way it looked, but hadn't used it. It's called Holiday Line Up.   This year I scraplifted a Pinterest idea of putting the figures in a police line up.
I liked the idea of the reindeer getting in trouble for their reindeer games, so I built on that.

I also tried a double-z fold card.  I think it turned out pretty well. I made a few more shaker cards.  The London Bridge image is based on our crazy holiday gift exchange.  This year each person chose a nursery rhyme or fairy tale as the gift suggestion.  My brother selected London Bridge is Falling Down.  I combined several Lavinia Stamp images for the fairy card.

The final card is a tunnel card.  I used several different nativity scene dies, each in slightly different sizes to create some perspective.  This card didn't photograph very well, but I'm very pleased with it.  The technique takes a lot of time, but I think I would be able to make future cards more quickly now that I'm familiar with the technique.

We have several family birthdays during the holiday season. Here are the cards for them.

Here are more cards from Fun Stampers Journey materials. I've also made a bunch of cards for friends in Petersburg and extended family. This is definitely the year of the shaker card.  I made many versions. I planned to make snow globe cards this year using the Hero Arts set, but never got around to using the snow globe die. The few snow globe cards I made, didn't use the set.  Maybe next year!

I've been busy with cardmaking lately--getting ready for Christmas plus the usual birthday cards.  The first card is for the DT post at Your Scrapbook Place.
The last card group I was able to attend was in October.  We made Halloween inserts for a frame that many of the members purchased.  I knew I'd never display the frame, so I took the inserts home and turned them into background for fall and Halloween cards.

I made the Birthday Club cards using my Journey Stampers Bloom Box contents.

I made my stamp club Christmas card swaps from a Stampin Up kit I got on sale after last Christmas.  I wasn't sure that shaker cards would still be popular this year, but I think they are even more popular than last year. I switched a few of the elements and left the twine off most of them.  I just didn't think it looked right. I think I'll use these cards for the people around town as well.  My next project will be to finish the family Christmas cards.  They always take the longest because they are all individualized.

This is the card for the November challenge at Your Scrapbook Place.

I had some time on my hands while recuperating from cataract surgery.  I couldn't exercise for a couple of week and still can't get back to inverted poses in yoga or water aerobics.  I'm also still adjusting to losing my near vision.  I'm using reading glasses to continue scrapping larger pictures. Once I am off the eye drops, I'll be able to get new glasses. I'm definitely loving that I can drive without glasses, and my night vision is vastly improved.

The page above is our darling Maybelle's first birthday.  Since she just celebrated her 4th birthday, I have quite a few more pages to get caught up.  Fortunately, I'm not a sequential scrapper, so "no pressure."

Bobbi and Todd's wedding pictures from their elopement to Tennessee.

I have many more school pictures to scrap, but here are a few.

Second birthday portraits of the guys:

Here's the first picture we took of all the kids together after Larry and Jaime returned to Illinois.

Jennifer making faces in Bobbi's room in Springfield:

Cheri and Tracey's wedding toast picture was funny because they were both too young to drink.  They are enjoying punch in the church basement.  The second picture was a portrait they had taken as a Christmas gift for family members.

This page shows one of several years that Bobbi wore similar party dresses.  Thanks goodness for Sears kids section.  There weren't many other choices back then!

I loved this romper, and of course, the cutie in it.

We made a big deal about the Bicentennial celebration.  We still have the hooked rug we made that year.  Almost every family member hooked at least a few loops of it.  Now a second generation of kids are playing on it.

Here are more oldies but goodies of Uncle Ken and Aunt Irene's wedding.
